Little Sunlights Nursery is based within the grounds of The Romsey School.

The nursery offers both full days and sessional care for children aged 4 months to 4 years (before school reception years). The nursery is open 51 weeks of the year from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Little Sunlights works with The Romsey School on a day-to-day basis and we have a group of students attending the nursery each morning to read and play. This helps to support their confidence and independence as well as building relationships and working together.

We also work with local community groups including the Men's Shed charity. We are very lucky that they are able to create and make some lovely resources for the children to use and enjoy at the nursery. Children from Little Sunlights visit Marie Louise care home weekly.

We have a Nature Nursery that the children access on a daily basis. This gives real life experiences, learning about growing, harvesting and the life cycle of crops. There is an amazing outdoor area to promote gross motor skills and physical development through climbing and balancing, negotiating space by using the bikes and obstacle courses, role-play, mud kitchen and a large sand pit. We also access the school field for running and sports.

The children take turns to help our amazing cook in the kitchen, developing life skills.
